ACLS Medications
Epinephrine 1 mg IV/IO every 3-5 minutes
Mechanism: Alpha- and beta-adrenergic agonist (vasopressor).
Use: Cardiac arrest (all rhythms) – improves coronary and cerebral perfusion.

Amiodarone 300 mg IV/IO (then 150 mg if needed)
Mechanism: Class III antiarrhythmic.
Use: Refractory ventricular fibrillation / pulseless ventricular tachycardia (VF/pVT).
Alternative: Lidocaine 1–1.5 mg/kg IV/IO.
